How I Stay Sane Between Disney Trips

In my opinion, there is no cure for Disney fever. My boyfriend prays to God that our trips will satisfy my Disney cravings, but honestly, trips to Disney just make me wanna go back even more. No matter how long the trip is, I always go home kicking and screaming, so I had to develop a way to keep myself from going crazy while I'm trapped up here in No Mans Land. Here's how I keep the magic alive in between trips: By following awesome accounts on social media! And shopping, of course.
YouTube:
Oh Yeah Disney
I love watching YouTube videos of couples that are around my age, I can relate to them more! So when I came across Oh Yeah Disney I was thrilled. This dynamic duo features Emily and Scott, a recently engaged couple from NC who travel to Disney World often. These videos are funny, creative and beautiful. They make videos while in the parks as well as haul and tip videos while at home. I love this channel for many reasons but I think the biggest is that Scott from Oh Yeah Disney is a videographer, just like my boyfriend Jake. Scott puts out video and photo tips, camera bag packing tips and more, as well as takes all the video and pictures for their social media sites. Everything he does is amazing and my boyfriend loves to see the videos and get inspiration for our trips. FINALLY we can share something Disney related at home! If you haven't already you must check out this awesome couple's stuff! New videos every Tuesday!
Happiest Vlogs on Earth
Again, I love watching young couples at Disney on YouTube, so it's no surprise that this next account is also made by a Disney loving couple. Happiest Vlog's on Earth is a Youtube channel featuring Jenn and Scott, recently married DVC members who travel to Disney at least twice a year and vlog their adventures. They also make tip videos from home to share! Their banter and love for Disney is adorable and the day by day videos of their trips make you feel like you are there. They release new videos every Monday at 10am!
iThemePark
Sometimes, during a particularly awful day at my crappy college job, I like to just imagine that I am on Splash Mountain or Test Track and that makes me feel a little better! Luckily, someone made a youtube channel dedicated to sharing POV videos of Orlando theme park rides. They also post parade and show videos, as well as resort tours! Put on one of these videos and try to go to your happy place...
Disney Parks Magic
Sometimes you just need to hear some Disney music to give you that good ole warm feeling of being in the parks. If you search Disney park music on youtube you will find hundreds of great loop videos. I love the music of the Magic Kingdom entrance, so I often use this loop as background music while I'm studying or cleaning.
Me!
One of the best things I think you can do is make a video slideshow of all your pictures and videos from your trip so that you can watch it over and over again and just daydream about all the wonderful times you had! Here's my goofy video. Again, I highly recommend doing the same!!

Shopping:
Parkbound Buttons
This girl makes wicked funny, creative and beautiful park buttons for any occasion and just for fun as well! DIY and custom park buttons are very in right now at the parks, so go check her site out! All the cool kids are doing it.

Sweet Georgia Designs
This etsy shop makes amazing MagicBand decals as well as stickers for any and everything! This shop has a fantastic selection of glitter colors as well as Lilly Pulitzer prints, and she will incorporate your monogram into almost all of her products! Monograms, glitter and Lilly, these are a few of my favorite things! Head to this shop to grab amazing decals to personalize your MagicBand for a trip or just to get a few stickers to add some Disney magic to your everyday life (I have one on my laptop and one on my car!)

Oh Yeah Apparel
Obviously I like these people! They make super cute and funny t-shirts, tank tops and ears that are perfect for parkbound days as well as for showing your #disneyside at home! Check them out.

Once Upon A Mickey Tee
I love love love this shop. My style is pretty minimalistic and these shirts are just that. They flaunt beautiful designs in a non-flashy way. This makes it easy to sport these in the real world! I think the best part about this shop, as well, is that it doesn't seem to close, so timing isn't an issue! Do yourself a favor and head to their site.

Shopmymouse
I got my first pair of custom ears from this shop (rose gold and a white bow) and I love them! Again, I am very minimalistic and this shop fits my style very well. The designs are crisp and clean and the craftsmanship of the ears are amazing as well. They were very well made and extremely light weight, as well, which makes walking around the parks in the hot Florida sun easy. She can custom make ears however you want and offers many different styles to choose from!

Ears by Mellie
I just recently discovered this shop but I am floored by how much stuff I absolutely love. The owner of the shop sells ears, bags, pillows, blankets, phone cases, bows, headbands, and hats. Right now, I am obsessed with the bags she makes. They literally look like Coach or Kate Spade bags but are adorned with Disney features! I see an Ears by Mellie bag in my near future...

Other Ways I Fight Disney Fever!
My Disney board on Pinterest. So. Many. Pins.
Watching classic Disney movies!
Planning dream Disney vacations on the Disney website.
Ordering the free Disney Vacation planning DVD every year to see whats new.
Writing this blog!
As you can see, I have a wealth of resources that I use to keep the Disney blues away, so hopefully you can benefit from them, as well, if you don't already use them! All us di-hard Disney fans are ever trying to do is to make it to our next trip without having a mental breakdown, so let's try to help each other out. You can do it! I'll be thinking happy Disney thoughts tonight at my crappy college job.. "just whistle while you work..."
